Saturday we had a wonderful time photographing Christine and Chris' wedding in Indianapolis, Indiana. When Christine arrived with her dress I loved unwrapping it to see how intricate the beautiful bead work was. The colors she choose were beautiful shades of purple for her flowers and decor. After the wedding we took them all around the church (St. Luke's Methodist Church) for their portraits. One of my favorite parts of the day happened when we were taking a few photos outside. I wanted Chris to smile for a fun photo of him in a more natural setting. So I asked him to look at his bride and I loved seeing how Chris smiled when he looked at Christine.
When we arrived at the Ritz Charles I was excited to see the Garden Pavilion because it is such a unique location for a reception. It is like having a garden wedding inside because the doors were swung wide open for the fresh air to come in. It was so romantic and elegant with lilac colored floor linens and hydrangeas on the tables. Another great moment was watching them dance their first dance as husband and wife because the sun was setting behind them.
I want to send a big thank you out to their family and friends for welcoming us to the fun! Christine and Chris we have loved working with you two. Thank you for honoring us by choosing us to photograph your day. We wish you the very best!
