We rarely get to go on vacation so going down to Gatlinburg for some rest and relaxation was awesome. Our cabin was super cute and had a hot tub outside for the cold nights. I even ate my favorite
Mayfield Moose Tracks Ice Cream while soaking (it's a local thing that I used to buy when I went to college in southern Virginia yummy)! The leaves were so beautiful. Although it was probably a week or two past the peak color time the fall was so much more colorful than in Cincinnati. I normally do most of the cooking so it was nice that the guys did some grilling. On Sunday Ben and I went out to explore the park and went to Roaring Fork Road. What a gorgeous spot. We also hiked a bit. Boy did we feel out of shape when we were trying to hike up hill!
