Jessica and Garrett, Engagement

Friday I met Jessica and Garrett at Eden Park for their engagement photos. They are great friends with our awesome friends Brad and Tori. So it was nice to finally meet them in person. One thing that was important was to find a gazebo since Garrett proposed in one. He proposed in Indiana and they came to Cincy for me to photograph them. So we got creative and used two in Eden Park. The one below is one of my favorites since you can see the gazebo and they just look great. We went all around Eden Park and they were awesome at trying anything I wanted. They both love photography so it was such a compliment that they admired our work enough to pick me to do their engagement photos. Since I am a photographer I don't like having my photo taken at all - but they couldn't have been easier to work with! Thanks you two - I can't wait to show you the rest of your photos online next week!

They are having a renaissance themed wedding so I had to get something a little medieval looking in there for them!

Ann and Thomas, Engagement

Sunday evening Ben and I photographed Ann and Thomas for their engagement session. We started out at the University of Cincinnati's campus and then went on to Eden Park. As you might recall from a previous post announcing her engagement, Ann is my younger sister. She is studying Architecture at Louisiana Tech University and is home for her internship in Louisville this summer. Since she loves architecture she wanted to use some of the awesome buildings on campus in her photos. Ben and I had a blast using the cool shapes and colors to create some artsy photos. Thomas, as usual, made sure that Ann was having fun and didn't mind the extra hugs and kisses. Thanks for having a great session with us. We are so excited about your wedding next year!

Cindy and Trevor's Engagement Album

Cindy and Trevor's Engagement Album came in yesterday. It looks great. There were so many great photos from their session an album was the perfect way to share more of their photos with friends and family. I love the photos that they picked and the design for the album is awesome. The albums come in black or tan leather or black cloth. There is a red leather option for those of you who are daring. Cindy and Trevor - I look forward to seeing you in June for your final consultation. I will bring your engagement album, engagement cards and your 8x10 print.

Cindy and Trevor, Engagement

What a great day for an engagement session with perfect weather and great timing for the sun. I love taking photos at the magical time before sunset. Cindy and Trevor were great fun to photograph in Eden Park. I always love it when a couple can take direction and yet naturally come up with even more loving poses. Oh and they even had to put up with my poor sign language since there was some traffic and distance from the bridge. I am really looking forward to their wedding this June.
