Elements Conference and Event Centre

This week I had a chance to check out Elements Conference and Event Centre in Sharonville. They are a great new place to host your event. I absolutely love the beautiful colors and contemporary design. The vendors did a great job and made this photo shoot so much fun!

Congratulations Laura and Kevin

Laura and Kevin are such an awesome couple. Every time I would talk to Laura after a meeting I felt like we could talk forever about anything (I am sure I was blabbing). So I knew we were going to have a great time on Saturday. There were so many wonderful moments during their day. I loved seeing Kevin's Big Brown pin because I am originally from Louisville and love the Kentucky Derby and Triple Crown. One of my favorite moments was watching them open and read their letters to each other. Watching them dance their first dance was also very special. I also knew that one of the photos that they really wanted was with the sunset. Earlier in the day it was very cloudy so I was a bit worried about having a great sunset. Then all of a sudden the sun came out and we had the perfect sunset. What a wonderful day! Laura and Kevin we hope you had a wonderful and relaxing honeymoon and thank you for being so much fun to work with. To their friends and family we can't thank you enough for being so wonderful. A special thanks goes to all of their great vendors.

Congratulations Alyson and Matthew

Saturday I had a blast photographing along side my two photographer friends Kim and Kendra. It was a great chance for me to be a bit more behind the scenes and grab some great candid photos. Alyson and Matthew are such a sweet couple that I just had a blast being a witness to their wonderful day. During the ceremony I love the part toward the end of the vows when Alyson repeated the words Amen because it came out like A----men!!! And she was so excited. At first she didn't notice but everybody was cracking up. They were just so excited to be married and how cute is that! During the reception, Alyson had a special visitor to help deliver the matron of honor's speech. Her fairy godmother was busy so her fairy godmother's sister read the Woman's Rules and then the Man's Rules. Which were just too funny. Remember beer is made of wheat and barley - therefore it is a vegetable! And last, my absolute favorite part - was seeing them with the sunset. They were such great sports and let us take a ton of photos even out in the cold. Alyson and Matthew - we wish you an awesome honeymoon. We know you are going to love all of your photos!

The beautiful reception (and background for most of our photos) was at Ivy Hills Country Club.

Their wedding took place at Holy Trinity Church in Batavia, Ohio.

It was great to see AJ the dj from Party Pleasers again - thanks for keeping the dancing floor hopping!

Congratulations Carmen and Harold

We had a great time photographing Carmen and Harold's wedding on Saturday. When we arrived to take photos of Carmen getting ready, I was impressed with her awesome hair done by Mitchell's Salon in West Chester. While she was getting ready her flowers from Jack Herb Florist arrived. Carmen did a wonderful job coordinating all of the colors to match the bridesmaid's dresses and all of her decorations. After a few fun photos with the guys and gals, they had a beautiful wedding at Norman Chapel. Pastor Eastman did a great job incorporating the beautiful commemoration and sand ceremonies into the service. One of my favorite parts of the day was seeing the couple so happy during the wedding. After the ceremony we grabbed some photos with the couple and then went to their reception at The Crowne Plaza in Blue Ash. They used the Blue Ash room which is so intimate with its sunken dance floor. I loved how their DJ's from Party Pleasers had such great lighting for all of the fun dancing. The dramatic dancing photos were taken with their spot light as the main source of light. What a great day and what a fun reception!

The flowers were designed by Jack Herb Florist.

This couple had two cakes! One was made by a family member and the groom's cake was made by Patricia's Wedding Cakes.
