Congratulations Lynn and Dale

Last weekend we had a beautiful day for Lynn and Dale's wedding. We started by photographing the gals getting ready and took some great photos of them outside. Their ceremony at St. Maximilian Kolbe Church included many touching moments. Watching the couples smiles brighten when they were announced husband and wife was just amazing. The reception was at the lovely Manor House. And the best part of the day - watching everybody let loose and enjoy themselves on the dance floor. Steve Bender did a great job keeping the music going and the dance floor full. Lynn and Dale are such a sweet couple and deserve all the best. So we wanted to do something special for them. I will number the photos and you get to help choose which photo we will print for them to hang on their wall. Just add a comment below with the photo number you would like to vote for and why. Votes will be totalled up on the 21st.

Jill's Baby Shower

Sunday I had a great time at my friend Jill's baby shower. Her and her husband have been such great friends (we've known them almost as long as we've been married). Now they have baby number 2 on the way and I am so excited for them. At the shower there was a fun diaper cake (decoration) and plenty of fun food like animal crackers and cake. Liz from Chef's Kitchen Cakery made the wonderful cake-love her cakes! We all had a blast and now we can't wait to meet the new baby!

An Affair with the Mafia

Thursday night we had a great time at the first Affair with the Mafia party! The Savannah Center turned into 5 different themed areas. We were in the Denver area that had a more nature loving bride. Our colors were blue, a fun and funky green and we used chocolate browns and whites to pull it all together. The food was awesome and the fireworks at the end were a wonderful touch. Thanks to all of you who stopped by and said hello. It was great to meet you all and to see some of our fun couples. Mark your calendars for the next big event on June 5th at the Newport Syndicate.

Congratulations Nicole and Brad

Saturday was a beautiful day for a wedding at Ivy Hills Country Club. We began with the gals getting ready in the guest house. Nicole looked so stunning in her beautiful dress and it was touching to watch her two daughters help her get ready. During the ceremony the couple included the girls by using the sand ceremony to represent their new family. At the end of the ceremony the couple kissed and then the officiant asked the groomsmen what they thought of the kiss. Well the groomsmen put up scores for the kiss and it was too funny. Way to pull that off guys! Next the couple danced back down the aisle and you could just see how happy they were. When it was time for the photos of the couple we had a blast driving around the golf course in the carts and had some stunning backgrounds to choose from. After the couple was announced at the reception they cut the green cake! Earlier when the groom had his photo with his grandmother she mentioned that there would be no smashing of the cake otherwise she would hit the groom with her cane! Grandma sat right by the cake and was prepared. It was too cute. We worked with some great people at their wedding including Matt and his crew from Lifetime Video. Nicole and Brad - have an awesome honeymoon. Definitely go snorkeling and eat some great fish for us!

The flowers were designed by Piepmeier the Florist who did an outstanding job. All of the flowers were so elegant.

I love this photograph because it was so candid. The mother of the groom was telling Nicole how Brad wasn't hardly saying anything because of his nerves.

The cake was green! It looked so awesome. The Chef's Kitchen Cakery did a great job with the cake.

The D.J. is a friend of the couple. Byron from Ginter Music was great at personalizing the announcements.
