Congratulations Sarah and Greg

Saturday the weather was perfect for Sarah and Greg's big day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding to start off the 2009 wedding season. They say that March comes in like a lion but the weather was great (and so we couldn't help but love the lion statues at the church). Mother of God Church in Covington was a wonderful location with so much inspiration everywhere we turned. Their reception followed their beautiful ceremony at The Gardens of Park Hills. The reception was so much fun with Joe from DJ Butlers keeping the party going. We had so many favorite moments on Saturday. But the one that made me laugh really hard was when Sarah's veil got caught in the wind after the ceremony. It came right off of her head and went straight up. The photo that I took really captures that moment. Sarah and Greg you two are so fun and we wish you two the very best! And to their friends and family - who we have been blessed to see at other family/friends weddings - we thank you for being so wonderful to photography and celebrate with. For more photos, please check out our Facebook page.

The tile work at the church was amazing!

The beautiful flowers were designed by The Secret Garden.

Apparently there was an updraft!

The cake was baked by Emerson's and decorated by Sarah's super talented grandfather.

Congratulations Kristen and Shawn

What a beautiful day for a wedding. Friday we photographed Kristen and Shawn's wedding at St. Timothy's Church in Union, Kentucky. Kristen's dress was amazing with red accents. Her dog even was festive with tulle on his collar. After getting ready photos we went to Devou Park and took formal photos. The reception was at The Gardens of Park Hills and their band was a group of friends and wow they were awesome. This is the first reception that I have been to where Radiohead was played. Great song choices. The elegant cake was by Gabby's European Cakes and the beautiful flowers were by Fassler Florist.
