Trip to Indy

Earlier this week I had a fabulous time in Indianapolis at a photographers' convention. We had a chance to explore the city a bit and even do a retro fashion shoot and a night shoot! The food was good, the people were great and it was nice to focus on the business for a few days. Below are just a few favorites.

The Indianapolis Union Station was so beautiful! What a great location for inspiration.

Fall Fashion Shoot

What could be more fun than a fall fashion shoot? It was raining most of the day but it didn't matter because we had a blast photographing in the cozy Stonebridge Inn and Spa in Batesville, Indiana. (I am so going back there to relax - their beds looked so plush and inviting!) Jessica Small of JP Salon and Makeup Artistry did a wonderful job with the hair and makeup. I love her elegant style and how she knows just how much makeup is perfect. All the girls looked naturally beautiful. The fun flower designs were made by Jolene at Daffodilly's. And the gorgeous dresses were from New Beginning Bridal

New Hardcover Printed Books

Today I received my first hardcover printed book from our printing lab. It is very different from our Art Leather bridal albums. This book was designed for The Couture Closet to show off their awesome dresses and our great photography. The book will make a great guest book with photos from your engagment and lines for guests to sign. The Couture Closet Fashion Shoot

Yesterday we had a ton of fun photographing in LaGrange, Kentucky at a great new bridal shop The Couture Closet. The shop recently opened January 2, 2007 in my hometown. I am excited to see such a wonderful place for brides to enjoy the dress shopping experience. They offer great couture gowns and a chic place to shop.
