Engagement Signing Book

Remember when I said how great these books would be for guest signing books? Well my engagement signing book example is now in. It looks great and has plenty of room for guests to sign. The other nice part is that it is a great way to show off your engagement photos even before the wedding. Instead of just picking a few photos for your engagement cards and an 8x10 you can pick more of your favorites and put them into a book. The front cover comes in black, tan and red leather or black and copper pearl fabric. The albums come with 20 pages and are only $140 for the fabric cover book or $150 for the leather covered books. One of the best parts is that they only take about three weeks to produce. Want one? Just send me an email and let me know. If you haven't had your engagement session yet let's go ahead and schedule one. If you have had your photos taken let me know your favorites and I will let you know more about these cool books.

Lynette and Charles, Engagement

Today Lynette, Charles and I had fun photographing their engagement portraits at The Clarion Hotel in Blue Ash. It will soon be The Crown Plaza. This was the first time that I had a chance to meet Charles since he is from Maryland. Their wedding and reception are at this hotel in August. How fun to see them in a different part of the hotel than where they will be getting married. I can't wait to see the finalized design changes to the hotel in the next few months. It will be perfect for their guests.

Wedding Tip: At First Sight

Want to join the party after the wedding and avoid making your guests wait? Take your formal photos before the ceremony. We like to make the moment when you first see each other special. We hide you two behind a gate, door or tree and then we bring you both out to see each other. The moment is so special. You can choose to keep it intimate with just the two of you (and us photographers) or you can include your bridal party and family members. Many of our brides have loved this moment and have told us that it really helps them to relax and remember what is truly important that day. Below are photos of Gina and Ed in their backyard! Their gate worked great and I think they forgot we were there watching.

Congratulations Nyota & Tajuan

Saturday was the perfect day for Nyota and Tajuan to getting married. The weather was nice and their wedding day was so elegant and a ton of fun. The wedding was at the beautiful Bethel Baptist Church and the reception was at The Madison in The Crystal Ballroom. In between the two we stopped and had a few moments with the bride and groom at Eden Park. At the reception the tables looked incredible with her printed and tied menus and a little blue box with their M&M favors. Who doesn't love what is inside of a little blue box. Their D.J., Shawn Hudson, was fun and had a bunch of guests on the dance floor. Some of their other great vendors that did an amazing job were: Polk's Petals, Anita Grolmes (Mary Kay), Executive Choice Limousine, and Patricia's Bakery. Enjoy your honeymoon in Aruba you two!

Congratulations Kristen and Shawn

What a beautiful day for a wedding. Friday we photographed Kristen and Shawn's wedding at St. Timothy's Church in Union, Kentucky. Kristen's dress was amazing with red accents. Her dog even was festive with tulle on his collar. After getting ready photos we went to Devou Park and took formal photos. The reception was at The Gardens of Park Hills and their band was a group of friends and wow they were awesome. This is the first reception that I have been to where Radiohead was played. Great song choices. The elegant cake was by Gabby's European Cakes and the beautiful flowers were by Fassler Florist.

New Hardcover Printed Books

Today I received my first hardcover printed book from our printing lab. It is very different from our Art Leather bridal albums. This book was designed for The Couture Closet to show off their awesome dresses and our great photography. The book will make a great guest book with photos from your engagment and lines for guests to sign. Guests will love seeing all of your engagement photos and you can show it around before the big day. Want one of your own? The first three orders will receive 10% off!

Mary & Ronald, Engagement

Mary and Ronnie took me to one of their favorite spots - their family's farm. We couldn't have picked a better day to be outside. I can see why they love to camp and hang out with family there. I love the old barn and their beautiful tall trees. I am so excited to photograph their wedding in July. It will be great to see Mary's family again since we photographed her sister's wedding a year ago.

Arianna and Matthew, Engagement

This morning I had so much fun getting to hang out with Arianna and Matthew. It was a bit wet so we had to change our plans. We went downtown to The Hyatt to photograph indoors and we even went outside for a few. I am so glad that we had a chance to do some fun stuff. I can't wait to see how great the wedding day will be in August.
