Engagement, Sarah and Greg

On Tuesday Richard and I met up with Sarah and Greg for their engagement session. They live in California and are getting married in Covington in March. So our cold weather on Tuesday (and lack of sun) was definitely a shock. I wish it had been a bit warmer but we all still had a lot of fun. I first met Sarah back in 2005 at her brother John's wedding and I met Greg at her brother Chris' wedding in February. So I was super excited when they called us with their wedding date! These two were so much fun to work with and even Greg's son helped out. He told knock knock jokes to help us make the couple laugh. We are so excited to photograph their wedding in March!

Engagement, Jenny and Philip

Jenny and Philip are an awesome couple. I first met them at a Wedding Mafia show because Jenny was our bridal model for our group of vendors. I had so much fun talking to her and her fiance so I was excited when they became engaged and they contacted us! The engagement session was so much fun and it was great to catch up with this couple. Cox Arboretum was absolutely beautiful with the evening's golden hour inspiring all of these photos. I can't wait to photograph their wedding in May!

Philip you can see the silhouettes of the turtles on the log! Philip and I both love turtles!

I love this photo! It reminds me of a romantic painting.

Congratulations Jenny and Nick

I have been looking forward to Jenny's wedding for so long. Jenny is so sweet - she is the kind of person you would want as your best friend. Nick is very kind and he lights up when he is around Jenny. Their wedding was truly amazing. The weather was great, the church was beautiful and everything was just wonderful. We started at the home of Jenny's parents with her family and bridesmaids. On her bridal bouquet she attached her mother's rosary from her wedding and a special rosary her sister Jill bought for her. During the ceremony my favorite moment was catching Jenny looking down at her new bling! It was so cute to see her try to sneak looking at it. At the reception the cake and decor looked amazing. I loved watching the couple dance their special first dance. Jenny and Nick we loved working with you two and we hope you had a wonderful honeymoon! To your family and friends - you all were so awesome we hope to see you again very soon!

Also a quick special thanks to all of the great vendors for making the day amazing!
