Erin and Richard's Engagement Album

Erin and Richard's Engagement Album came in the mail and it is beautiful. It will be so nice for them to show more of their engagement photos to their out of town guests. We had a great time at Devou Park photographing their engagement session earlier this month. One of my favorite photos is the one below in black and white and another favorite is the one they choose for their first page and for their 8x10 print. They choose the black leather cover and it looks great with all of their photos. Erin and Richard- I look forward to seeing you for your final consultation.

Jessica and Garrett, Engagement

Friday I met Jessica and Garrett at Eden Park for their engagement photos. They are great friends with our awesome friends Brad and Tori. So it was nice to finally meet them in person. One thing that was important was to find a gazebo since Garrett proposed in one. He proposed in Indiana and they came to Cincy for me to photograph them. So we got creative and used two in Eden Park. The one below is one of my favorites since you can see the gazebo and they just look great. We went all around Eden Park and they were awesome at trying anything I wanted. They both love photography so it was such a compliment that they admired our work enough to pick me to do their engagement photos. Since I am a photographer I don't like having my photo taken at all - but they couldn't have been easier to work with! Thanks you two - I can't wait to show you the rest of your photos online next week!

They are having a renaissance themed wedding so I had to get something a little medieval looking in there for them!

Robyn and Dave, Engagement

Last night I met Robyn and Dave for their engagement session at Ault Park. It was Dave's birthday and we couldn't have asked for a better night. They had told me that they were picture people and liked having their photos taken. And they were right. It was great to give them some direction and then let them have fun with it. The gardens were in full bloom so we took advantage of them for our awesome backdrops. They will be getting married in September and I can't wait to photograph them on their big day. Dave and Robyn - let me know how the birthday sushi dinner went. I am always looking for great sushi!

Cara and Kevin, Engagement

On Monday evening I met up with Cara and Kevin at Ault Park for their engagement session. It was nice to see Kevin again since I hadn't seen him for awhile. Cara and I got to say hello at Veils and Cocktails at The Madison where they will be having their reception. What a fun couple. Kevin was all ready to go GQ and they both were great at having fun with the session. I really love how they are so into the each other and how you can see that in the photos. One of my favorites is when I told Cara to attack Kevin. I really meant attack him with a big kiss. She thought I meant do the choke hold pose. How funny. But one of my favorites below is with her attacking him with a big kiss. How romantic. I can't wait to photograph you two at your wedding in November.

The big romantic attack pose. Which translates to big passionate kiss!

Congratulations Mary and Ronnie

Mary and Ronnie had the perfect weather for the big day. It was great for taking photos in Presidential Park which is just across the street from St. Pius X where they had both the ceremony and reception. Mary's veil was beautiful and it was made by her grandmother. Mary and Ronnie both were just so calm and happy. One of my favorite parts of the day was hearing how Mary's mother explained the fun cake topper to the flower girl. I couldn't help but chuckle inside. Later at the reception the guests were having a blast on the dance floor. Ronnie played a special song at the end of the night for Mary and I loved watching the two of them dance. You could just see how much they made each other happy. And then it was time for everyone to say goodbye. What a great time. As we were leaving Mary's father thanked us and told us again that he's sorry but he doesn't have any more children to marry off so he won't be needing us again for weddings. What a compliment. We photographed Amy and Doug's wedding just about a year ago (Mary's sister and brother and law). Mary and Ronnie - have a wonderful honeymoon - thank you for letting us join in the family fun again! You all sure throw one heck of a fun reception!

The beautiful flowers were designed by Ft. Thomas Florist.

The yummy cake was made by Cakes by Marilyn. Dinner was catered by Chef Barones.

Their DJs were from Sound n Motion.
