Baby Jared

Baby Jared is such a beautiful baby. It was wonderful to see him sleeping so quietly and then to later see his bright eyes looking up at his parents. His big sister even had a lot of fun holding him. I hope everyone enjoys the show below.

Engagement, Lindsey and Mark

Tuesday I had a great time hanging out with Lindsey and Mark for their engagement session. We went to Oxford and used Miami University's beautiful setting. The couple met there during their freshman year and have spent a lot of time together there. It was so great to hear about some of their dates and many fun traditions the university has. What a special place for them as a couple. We waited until now for the session so that the formal gardens would be in full bloom and it made a beautiful backdrop. Lindsey and Mark thank you for sharing your special places with me and for make your session so much fun. Thank you for trying all my silly suggestions - I know you are going to love all of your photos!

Congratulations Andrea and Roger

Friday Andrea and Roger had a beautiful day for their wonderful wedding. The couple saw each other for the first time at Florence Nature Park. It was great to see them both relax a little and just enjoy being together. The ceremony and reception were both at Elegance Reception Hall. The reception was so much fun. My favorite moment was watching Andrea's brother Justin give the speech. He did a wonderful job by starting out funny and then wishing the couple all the best. We photographed Justin and Michelle's wedding a year ago and he started out his speech saying that they assumed that he was "happily" married and could give advice. Too funny. I loved seeing Andrea and Roger dance together because they were just so in to each other. Andrea and Roger - thank you for being so much fun - have a wonderful honeymoon. To their family - it was so great to see you again and wonderful to meet Roger's family.

Welcome Baby Hagen!

Yesterday my sister-in-law Amanda gave birth to her beautiful baby boy Hagen. I am so excited to have another nephew. I came in the afternoon to say hello to him at about 12 hours after his birth (yes I am a dork but I didn't realize it until the nurse said it). He has dark hair and was sneezing on me when I held him. These photos all were taken with the natural window light and my awesome D300 that does great in low light situations. Amanda, Travis, Warren and baby Hagen we love you all!

Happy First Anniversary to Deanna and Brian

Happy one year anniversary to Deanna and Brian. What a great couple. This is one of my favorite photographs from their wedding. I just love how loving they are. This little park was just down the road from their church and is now one of my favorite spots. We wish you two many more years of happiness.

Engagement, Lindsey and Reuben

Lindsey and Reuben were so much fun to hang out with on Tuesday. They gave me a great tour of the beautiful Greenville park. The park has special meaning to the couple because they have been there together many times and Reuben proposed in the gazebo! I think we even created some new memories with the fun stage and the dinosaur! Lindsey and Reuben were great because they were up for anything including sitting in the middle of the road so that I could get a shot with the Greenville Wave mascot. Lindsey and Reuben - you two are so great, thanks for making my job so much fun!
