We met up with Richard and Jamie at Spring Grove to find a few trees in bloom. Spring Grove is one of our favorite locations for so many reasons. Everywhere you turn there is inspiration. We had a blast photographing their engagement session. We told tons of bad jokes and before we knew it the place was closing. Jamie and Richard we can't wait to photograph your wedding!
We love receiving thank you notes and emails. It reminds us how important our photography is in the lives of so many people. What a great compliment!
Susanne and Matthew's engagement book just came in and it looks great. I love how artsy Susanne is so we picked Pyramid Hill as their unique location. Their engagement book displays some of their best photos from their session and their wedding guests will enjoy seeing so many fun photos. We can't wait for their July wedding!
I want to welcome a new couple Lauren and Todd. Their November wedding will be at St. Boniface Church with a reception following at the Kingsgate Marriott. Their wedding is going to be a lot of fun. It will be great to photograph their engagement session because we are going to include places that mean something to them as a couple.

Saturday the weather was perfect for Sarah and Greg's big day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding to start off the 2009 wedding season. They say that March comes in like a lion but the weather was great (and so we couldn't help but love the lion statues at the church). Mother of God Church in Covington was a wonderful location with so much inspiration everywhere we turned. Their reception followed their beautiful ceremony at The Gardens of Park Hills. The reception was so much fun with Joe from DJ Butlers keeping the party going. We had so many favorite moments on Saturday. But the one that made me laugh really hard was when Sarah's veil got caught in the wind after the ceremony. It came right off of her head and went straight up. The photo that I took really captures that moment. Sarah and Greg you two are so fun and we wish you two the very best! And to their friends and family - who we have been blessed to see at other family/friends weddings - we thank you for being so wonderful to photography and celebrate with. Julia and Chris ordered a canvas gallery wrap from one of their favorite photos and it turned out beautiful! I love how modern but classic these are. The canvas material is classic but the photo edge is so modern. I love not having to pick out a frame because it is ready to hang. I want to welcome Andrea and Chris! Their wedding is this August at St. Ignatius with their reception at The Madison. Their wedding sounds wonderful and we are so excited to be a small part of their big day.

One of the fun events we photographed recently was A Dress to Remember at the Contemporary Art Museum. The benefit was put on by a great group of local wedding planners and the event involved many wonderful local vendors.
