Saturday the weather was perfect for Sarah and Greg's big day. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding to start off the 2009 wedding season. They say that March comes in like a lion but the weather was great (and so we couldn't help but love the lion statues at the church).
Mother of God Church in Covington was a wonderful location with so much inspiration everywhere we turned. Their reception followed their beautiful ceremony at
The Gardens of Park Hills. The reception was so much fun with Joe from
DJ Butlers keeping the party going. We had so many favorite moments on Saturday. But the one that made me laugh really hard was when Sarah's veil got caught in the wind after the ceremony. It came right off of her head and went straight up. The photo that I took really captures that moment. Sarah and Greg you two are so fun and we wish you two the very best! And to their friends and family - who we have been blessed to see at other family/friends weddings - we thank you for being so wonderful to photography and celebrate with. Apparently there was an updraft!
The cake was baked by Emerson's and decorated by Sarah's super talented grandfather.
